I work in the healthcare industry & am allergic to latex. Because medibands can be sterilised, Im hoping I’ll be allowed to wear one when working. At the moment, Im not allowed to wear my medi alert braclet as it can’t be sterilised.

My eldest son has been wearing medibands for years for his allergies to egg, dairy and peanut. They are so good for kids as they are not heavy like the metal ones and they are also cheap and easy to replace if they occasionally get lost or broken. My Mum also wears them for her allergies and I have recently got my own as I have been diagnosed with a cold allergy. They are a real family affair for us!
These medibands are great, they are “Cool” enough, that my 11 year old son actually wears his, unlike some other types. They are also very durable which is great for active kids.

Our son is allergic to peanuts and treenuts, he does not like wearing necklaces or most bracelets. These softer ones are ideal for him, and he will keep them on.
